François Lapointe, CPHR,
Chartered Professional in Human Resources and Management

François is the founder of Lapointe Consulting. He established the firm following his tenure as Director of Human Resources for the Mi’gmaw community of Gesgapegiag, where he contributed for several years before returning to his hometown of Rimouski.
 
A seasoned human resources and management professional, François is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). He is guided by a clear mission: to support organizations in their growth while strengthening internal capacity and organizational autonomy. Since 2019, he has developed strong, trusted relationships with numerous Indigenous communities and organizations, approaching each mandate with a consistent focus on delivering meaningful and sustainable organizational outcomes.
 
His approach is grounded in collaborative partnerships that adapt to the unique realities and strategic objectives of each organization. He emphasizes transparent communication, active listening, and customized solutions, positioning himself as a trusted, results-driven partner. Recognized for his strong analytical capabilities, François brings a thoughtful, strategic perspective to decision-making, carefully considering multiple viewpoints and long-term implications. He leverages reliable, well-analyzed information to translate organizational values and strategic priorities into practical policies, tools, and actionable measures.
 
Known for his professionalism, composure, and openness, François works respectfully and without judgment, adapting to diverse organizational contexts, cultures, and operational environments. Clients value his ability to combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of on-the-ground realities, supported by rigor, adaptability, and sound judgment.

Laurence joined Lapointe Consulting after gaining experience in various organizations, including a position as co-director of a small business in the Gaspé Peninsula, she brings versatile expertise and an excellent sense of priorities.

She also worked as an executive assistant in the office of the Chief of an Indigenous community in eastern Quebec, where she developed a rigorous approach to coordination, management of sensitive files, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Laurence plays a key role in the team, ensuring administrative follow-up, helping to organize mandates, and supporting the production of deliverables with rigor. Known for her attention to detail, discretion, and gentle, human approach, she facilitates the daily lives of the team, clients, and collaborators with professionalism and consistency.

Julianne is joining Lapointe Consulting as an intern for Spring and Summer 2026 as part of her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations at Université Laval. She is eager to deepen her knowledge through hands-on experience in a professional environment.
 
Her many years of customer service experience have allowed her to refine her approach when working with a diverse clientele, including Indigenous communities in Eastern Quebec. Julianne has developed a strong sense of service, solid communication skills, and a high level of adaptability. These experiences have enabled her to work effectively as part of a team and to clearly understand clients’ needs.
 
Her internship represents her first immersion in the field of human resources, where she is keen to get actively involved and contribute to the team’s various mandates.
